Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses. Reference the for guidance on how your discussion will be evaluated. In Week Five, you watched the video, , in which Dr. Krashen discussed the importance and power of free voluntary reading.  Imagine you have a classroom full of students who are diverse in English language ability and ethnicity.  How will you create lesson plans for free voluntary reading? Will you select the texts for students or let them select their own (justify your response from the text and the webpage)?  How will you make the learning interesting and applicable while enforcing the relevancy of grammar skills achieved through free voluntary reading?  Discuss your process for developing the lesson, activity, or assignment and how it will be evaluated.
